Often referred to as an “Artist by Heart”, Patricia takes great pride in creating extraordinary handmade greeting cards. She is passionate about discovering what makes people joyful with regards to inspirations, art, and the use of words to communicate the most intimate feelings, and then making it happen through her compelling compositions.

Born in Caracas, Venezuela, Patricia, at the young age of nineteen, designed her own clothing label. In the following ten years, she developed her company which gained recognition and much success in the fashion industry of her country. In 1993, Patricia moved to New York, married Ronald Dash and joined her husband to develop the retail section of his business, also related to the garment industry.

Moving permanently from Long Beach, New York in 2006, Patricia and her family have become year-round residents of Palm Beach Gardens, Florida. Most recently, Patricia has established a new trademark “Heartfelt Words by Patricia Dash”, formerly known as “More Than a Card”. By settling her art-studio at home, Patricia’s exclusive line of handmade cards is now only available through her web-store and at the Art & Crafts Shows in the Palm Beach area.

Inspired by the birth of her son Samuel David, artisan Patricia Dash, originally created this card in 1997. “HeARTfelt Words” by Patricia Dash, formerly known as “More Than a Card”,  is a three-dimensional greeting card  completely made by hand, using fine recyclable paper, special inks, and hand-picked fabrics and ribbons. What sets Patricia’s greeting cards apart from others, are the metal pieces that she individually designs and hand-paints. These unique metal accents unite all the elements in Patricia’s craftwork , beautifully depicting the heartfelt words, tenderly portrayed in Patricia’s cards.
